Privacy

This site is built to leave the lightest trace possible. No cookies are set before you act. No advertising trackers run anywhere. The one analytics tool in use is anonymous and aggregated by design.

What is collected, and when

Three things on this site send information to a third party. The first runs on every page load and is anonymous. The other two run only when you choose to engage.

Site analytics

This site uses Simple Analytics, a privacy-first analytics service hosted in the European Union. It records page views, the page that referred you, your screen size, your country (derived from your IP at the moment of request, then discarded), and the timestamp. It does not set cookies, does not use any persistent identifier, does not track you across sessions or sites, and does not build a profile of you. To deduplicate visits within a single day, it uses a salted hash that rotates every twenty-four hours and cannot be linked back to you. Because no personal data is stored, no consent is required under the GDPR or the ePrivacy Directive.

The press contact form

When you submit the press enquiry form, your name, email, and message are sent to Netlify Forms, where they are stored so the artist can read and reply to you. No cookies are set by this form. Submissions are retained only as long as needed for correspondence.

The mailing list

When you focus or click into the newsletter field, a script is loaded from MailerLite, which manages the studio mailing list. This script may set cookies and receive your IP address. By engaging with the field you consent to this. If you do not subscribe, no email address is stored. If you do subscribe, you can unsubscribe from any dispatch using the link at the bottom of every email.

Fonts and infrastructure

Typefaces are served from this domain, not from Google. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no behavioural tracking, no fingerprinting, no advertising network of any kind. Hosting is provided by Netlify, whose edge servers keep standard HTTP access logs for security and uptime. These are rotated on a short schedule.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request a copy of any personal data held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be erased. To make a request, write to lyden.ciara@gmail.com.

Changes

If this notice changes, the date below will change with it. The artist does not maintain a separate audit log of revisions.
